Commonly- know fact amongst my peers:
I love America.
I love America.
In suit, my sorority sister Kelsie bought me an American flag puzzle. The lack of desk space in a dorm made floor- puzzle time my only option.
In a morning frenzy, I slipped on my gray knitted boots without socks- a desperate measure necessary to get to that 8am class on time.
During that awkward fast walk/ jog people in a hurry often do, I noticed that a puzzle piece was along for the ride- stuck to my left foot.
That's been two weeks ago... and I still have that oddly-shaped piece of cardboard in my boot, as it brings me a strange and simple pleasure. Only I (and my non-existent blogger readers) know its there. Rebellious? No. Childlike? Yes... and I'm okay with that. :)
